About Markus

Anesthesiology was my first clinical rotation in medical school and it offered everything I was looking for as physician.

Ever since I love and enjoy guiding patients through the entire perioperative process from a pre-OP visit to managing their anesthesia during a surgical procedure or intervention to their post operative care. Whether it’s a minor procedure or a complex heart surgery I feel fortunate to be part of multi-disciplinary team that strives to provide the best care we can for our patients.

Many outdoor activities including camping, hunting, canoeing, snow shoeing and keeping our two Labrador retrievers happy and content.
