About Douglas

After having multiple surgeries as a young person, I became interested in becoming a physician, and my interest in anesthesiology stemmed from it’s foundation in physiology and pharmacology.  However, after years of practice, I came to appreciate that I derive the most satisfaction from caring for patients: getting a chance to meet them, appreciate their individual needs, and providing them comfort during what can be a scary and stressful time.
